Trying to Fill Your Schedule at Oracle OpenWorld? Join Five9!

Oracle OpenWorld begins on Monday, and those of us at Five9 could not be more excited to participate. As a strategic partner of Oracle, we’re looking forward to interacting with lots of familiar faces, including some of our customers, as well as to meeting new people.
 

As we pack our bags to travel (the short distance) from San Ramon, California, to San Francisco’s Moscone Center, I thought I’d outline some of the conference activities we’ll be participating in so you can join us. Considering that customer success is a key focus area of this year’s show, there is sure to be a lot of interesting, engaging content for anyone working in this space to participate in. At big industry conferences like Oracle OpenWorld, the many ways you can spend your time can be overwhelming, but here are some of the top activities to consider:

1. Walk the Exhibit Hall
 

Start off the week by perusing The Exchange at Moscone South, also known as the Oracle exhibit hall, to see the partner booths and score on some great giveaways. By starting here, you can get a sense for the types of companies in attendance, discover the themes you are most interested in and have the chance to perhaps meet some new business connections.
 

Five9 will be in Booth No. 31 in the CX Showcase of The Exchange demonstrating our integration with Oracle Engagement Cloud and handing out fidget spinners. Come stop by to get one before they’re gone!


2. Get the 4-1-1 on Oracle & Five9’s partnership

In the CX Innovation Theater in Moscone South at 4 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 3, Five9’s senior director of product management, Brian Schnack, will share how the Five9 integration to Oracle Engagement Cloud empowers agents to deliver amazing customer experiences. The jointly developed solution gives agents everything they need to help customers with problems or optimize sales. You’ll see firsthand how customers of both Oracle and Five9 offer truly transformative customer experiences. This is a must see.


3. Check out customer success presentations


There’s no better way to understand the benefits of using Oracle than to hear success stories straight from the mouths of its users. Five9 customer Total Wine & More will present in the theater session, Modernize Your Contact Center to the Cloud to discuss how they use Five9 and Oracle Service Cloud to keep a 360-degree record of customers, personalize experiences and encourage confident and comfortable shopping.
 

The session is at 12:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3 in Moscone South at the CX Innovation Theater. Book this session in your calendar here so you don’t miss it.

 
4. Mix and mingle at Five9’s CX Customer Reception

Join us for an evening of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and networking with the Five9 team at Oracle’s Customer Appreciation event. This Five9-sponsored event starts at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3 at the St. Regis Hotel, 4th Floor, Yerba Buena Terrace. Click here to RSVP.


5. Rock on with the band The Conference Room Pilots

Following the cocktail reception at the St. Regis, take a break from all the industry learning and networking and enjoy a concert at Slim’s, a famous San Francisco live music club. Five9 is a host of this event, which will feature The Conference Room Pilots, a group of Oracle nerds/part-time rock stars, who have performed cover song favorites to the Oracle community for more than 10 years. The event starts at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3.
