Trailblazing the AI Frontier: Five9 and Salesforce's Prelude to Dreamforce Part 1

Dreamforce 2024, the premier AI event of the year, is taking over downtown San Francisco from September 17-19. As the world’s largest and most trusted gathering on AI, Customer Relationship Management, and digital transformation, Dreamforce is where visionaries and innovators come together to reimagine the future of business. At Five9, we’re thrilled to help sponsor yet another year of Dreamforce, and we’re particularly excited to share the dreamy AI solutions we’ve been developing to transform CX.

As we ramp up preparations, we thought it might be fun (and maybe a little educational) to revisit and celebrate some of the recent successes of Five9’s strategic partnership with Salesforce. With over 15 years of collaboration and more than 1,200 shared customers globally, our long-standing relationship and ongoing go-to-market efforts have helped transform customer service. Today, we continue to collaboratively rethink solutions that deliver for customers and drive the future of CX forward.

In the last two years, Five9 and Salesforce have been trailblazing together, driving innovation and transforming customer engagement. Flashback to September 2022 – just two years ago – we launched Service Cloud Voice for Partner Telephony on the Salesforce AppExchange, taking our integration game to the next level. This wasn't our first rodeo, though. Our original Five9 Adapter for Salesforce (Open CTI) hit the scene back in 2009, and we've been setting the bar high ever since.

From solution-driving to globetrotting, our partnership with Salesforce knows no bounds. Five9 has proudly served as a dedicated supporter and sponsor of Salesforce World Tour events across the globe. In 2023 alone, we’ve made our mark at events in Washington, DC, New York City (three times!), São Paulo, London, and Boston. And we didn’t stop there. Last month, we teed off at the Salesforce Customer Appreciation golf event in Half Moon Bay, California. Next up, we’re heading back to New York City for another World Tour event this December. 

Salesforce has played a crucial role in helping Five9 showcase our latest product innovations in support of our mission to transform CX. The company helped drive two Five9 webinars and a news release this year to shed light on our most advanced integration to date. In Fall 2023, Five9 and Salesforce co-hosted a webinar entitled “How Five9 and Salesforce Revolutionize Customer Experience (CX)” with Ryan Nichols, Salesforce’s Chief Customer Officer of Service Cloud. In June, at CCW in Las Vegas, we unveiled our “AI Integration with Salesforce for a Unified View of the Customer”. Most recently, in August, we presented another webinar  “Unlock Efficiency with the Power of AI: Five9 and Salesforce Service Cloud Voice” to walk through Five9’s AI-driven solutions and how they integrate seamlessly with Salesforce Service Cloud Voice.
